- I know at least 10 people in my life, including myself, whose lives were drastically changed by smoking pot. If you have a predisposition to depression/schizophrenia, pot is a powerful trigger. Ask any psychiatrist and they will tell you that for some people, pot is a dangerous drug.

- I saved all of my working life and paid for my children's education in full without any help and they went to land grant colleges, which are not inexpensive to say the least. If people with loans are issued a discharge from their loans, do I get a rebate. Where is the fairness here.

- Loughner was psychotic when he shot those people. He was once a normal human being, free from the psychosis of schizophrenia. It must be hard to be him knowing that once he took medication, he mind cleared and he could see what this illness made him do.

- I agree with you Freedom. They can be clear headed to plan, of course. But the reason for their planning is what is sick. They usually are paranoid, suspicious and thinking a you before me mentality.
